SPANISH : These are resources that have been made by teachers at the Christian School and Chapel for the Deaf.  They are NOT intended to be used outside of an ASL environment.  All countries have their own dialect or language syntax in their own sign languages. Make sure you are not polluting another sign language by using ASL where it is not the language of the culture.  Thanks

One of our favorite resources is the  Newby Visual Language CD-rom. BUY IT.  We are writing the word lists in Spanish and English now using PPT.   (Sample concepts de vida – limpiando los pisos)

We use  Newby’s pictures coupled  with signs taken from Clip and Create ASL vocabulary .  We are not selling these resources but can recommend them to you for use with your Deaf.

Again, make sure that you are not using ASL in areas where other sign languages or sign systems are used.  For example, we use the sign HERE (from clip and create) when teaching the words WHERE and WHAT in the question form to our students (hearing and deaf).
